Space Wave
-- Mission Guide --
In a chokepoint in the galaxy, the only way to get through to the unknown, lies an impassable asteroid belt. It wraps around not one but TWO planets. Dubbed the "Twin-World Ring". These two planets are also so close that even one wrong move could mean getting torn apart in both of their gravities.
It is infamous for that anyone foolish enough to come to this sytem get sucked into the rings, with no escape, death is thought to be inevitable. Hence, many have come to call this the "Gravity Graveyard". Catchy, right?
I have devised a plan to get passed this system though. The government has been developing a new tech similar the faster-than-light-travel called tearing. Essentially, a ship just has to reach a speed of exactly 99% the speed of light, then the Tear-Drive will activate, which will tear a wormhole into space.
We have never been able to test the device, because it requires a speed we have never reached, too slow for FTLT. So, your job as a Guide is to lead a pilot into the belt and ride on the Twin-Planets' gravity to get up to speed so we can get past the impassable.
I have secured thousands of pilots ready to sacrifice themselves for our cause, so messing up doesn't mean defeat, only a life. To help you with the mental stress, I have given you an AI companion to assist you. But be warned, this companion gained sentience before we expected, so it'll have a bit of an attitude, hopefully nothing more. Good luck, Guide.

If you want to learn the controls but already played, Reset Data will delete your highscore but also bring back the controls helper.
Otherwise, it is left click to switch, right click to shoot.
